Contributes to IFPI Global Chart: YouTube views counts as sales for the IFPI Global Charts. Your streams count for single, album and artists sales, especially premium streams.
YouTube Streams count as album sales according to RIAA: 1,500 on-demand streams of a single track is equivalent to ten download track sales or one album sale.
Criteria for Korean award shows and k-charts: YouTube MV views count as criteria for most Korean Award Shows, including Korean Music Shows and Year-End Awards. MV views make up a considerable portion of the overall points for these awards.
YouTube charts don’t have limits for views: Unlike Spotify charts, YouTube charts (Top Songs, Top Artists and Top Music Videos) don't have a daily limit. ALL VIEWS count for these 3 charts.
There’s still a limit for Billboard: There's a limit of 50 views per day per account but it's only for Billboard. For other charts like Circle Charts and Korean Shows and Awards, there's no daily limit, so keep streaming!
